“Worth the line”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Depending on the season, there will be a big line downstairs to get up there but it is so worth it. I think the view was better than the Sears view. it just had a great atmosphere to it. You can sit in the bar and have a beer or some wine while you breath in the views. Such an amazing variety of people around. I guess winter might be slower and the view of sunset comes to you earlier.

“Great at sundown”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

What a way to see the sun set! It was a clear day and crowds were light. We only did the basic admission which was sufficient. The audio tour wasn't available for some reason.Good time to see it.

“Views are really worth the effort”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Insider knowledge led us to forgo the 18 dollar visit to the actual viewing floor, instead we went to the bar for a 14 dollar cocktail and had a great forty five minutes looking out on Chicago, from a window seat. Staff were very pleasant, cocktail was effective, overall a very good experience.

“Hancock Center”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

We went up in the Hancock observatory (94th floor), but you can also go up to the 95th floor to eat dinner at the signature room and enjoy the same views while you eat dinner (just make a reservation ahead of time - open until 11:00 pm - suggest night time visit for amazing views). We also ate in the cheesecake factory which is at the base of the Hancock center which was a fantastic meal
