The trees were lit and the street was overwhelmed with people bustling in and out.. Michael Kors, Burberry, Luis Vuitton... all the way down to Macy's and Old Navy..There was something for everyone! Very cool. I have to go back!

I am not a big shopper, but even I can appreciate the amount of shopping there is in the city of Chicago, especially on and around the magnificent mile. I believe I visited 3 coach stores along that one stretch of road. It is by no means a thrift area but if you understand and appreciate how clothing and merchandise is valued then there is something here for you.

Lots of shops up and down Michigan Ave. Watertower is good for indoor shopping, it is relatively quite as well and all shops are quite big.

Even on a horrible cold, cloudy, snowy weekend walking on the Magnificent Mile is an experience! There were lots of sales and the people watching was all I'd hoped it would be!

First time ever to Chicago, had to visit Michigan Avenue. Love big cities and the experience did not fail. Will visit again.
