“Dedicate an entire day to the Mile!”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

There is tons to see and do on the Mile so make sure you dedicate an entire day to it. Tons of stores ranging from upscale to really affordable. There is Forever21, H & M, Louis Vitton, Zara, Banana Republic, Neimen Marcus, Disney, Bloomingdales, Macy's, everything you can think of!
Set out early to avoid major crowds.

“Great place to Shop!”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

We were only in Chicago for one night but did manage a little retail therapy! Lots of lovely shops and everyone was very helpful.

“A pity the shops close early...”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

The Magnificent Mile is supposed to be the vibrance of the city with its many shopping and dining options. The shopping ranges from the very luxurious of Tiffany & Co, Hugo Boss, Burberry, etc, big names like Disney, Macy's, Nike, etc, mass market stores like H&M, Forever 21, Gap, etc, and even specialty stores like Crate & Barrel and Nordstrom Rack. The downside of the mile is that the shops closes at around 8pm and some even as early as 6pm on Sundays. Why??
By night time, tourists will have no choice but to "seek refuge" in restaurants like Gino's East or Giordano's and stores like Walgreens.

“Was Ok”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Although it had lots of shopping, it was mostly stores I don't go into (I'm not a 1% shopper), plus there are tons of homeless people begging for money down the whole strip, the shops also close down early.

“Incredible architecture and shopping”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

If you can't find something to buy on this street in the area known as The Magnificent Mile, you aren't trying hard enough. This area is full of the best high-end shopping and amazing store fronts we have ever seen. We loved browsing in both the biggest Crate and Barrel and the biggest Eddie Bauer we have ever seen. And the closer you get to downtown, the more amazing the architecture.
