One of my fellow travelers is a dealer of Mexican Folk Art in Seattle. This museum was recommended to him. He was duly impressed with the selection of art work. The building is new and there is ample parking surrounding the building. The Target Corp. was funding the admission at the time we visited so we got in free. The exhibits were set up as sort of a timeline which made it very interesting. Day of the Dead art was very prominent. If I were visiting Chicago, I would definitely make this a cultural stop. Very enjoyable.
