We participated in this tour recently and it was o.k. I did have to purchase tire insurance for $3 which I thought was a bit odd.
The training was fine, tour o.k. but what really causes me to give this attraction a score of two is because of what they did to two ladies who paid to go on the tour. These nice ladies, one 65 and the other 70 paid to go on the tour. They were not overweight and looked to be in great health. Basically they let them try out the Segway for a very limited time (not sure how long but it wasn't long compared to everyone else who was being trained).
One of the guys who worked there decided that he did not think they could go out on the Segways and did not want to take the risk of sending them on the tour. but what seemed really unfair was that he would not refund their money. He gave them a certificate to be used at a later date - which really doesn't help them out at all. I saw many older people on the Segway tours so I'm not sure why this one didn't let them ride the Segways.
If you are interested in this tour, be sure you check the refund policy.
