We stayed for pleasure. I was not aware It is a shared continental breakfast with another hotel. The waffle iron wait is 20+ minutes. They monitored the elevators well at breakfast time.
Parking is a daily charge.
Our room refrigerator had no freezer section or temp control and froze over $50 worth of fruit we had for our evening snack.

Always staff willing to assist no matter the task. Great location. Any direction there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. Uber is very familiar with the address/location. Navy Pier is a 20 minute walk. Block 37 is about a 30 minute walk. Room was clean and an overall safe feeling at this location. Don't hesitate, no regrets.

During our stay we went to a Cubs game, did all the museums and aquarium, and navy pier multiple times... the location was perfect. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful when we had questions about navigating the area. The free breakfast had tons of options. We even got escorted on the staff elevators during breakfast when the regular elevators were taking forever. Great experience!

This Hampton Inn is perfectly located for visiting many famous Chicago landmarks, either on foot or after a short ride on the CTA. I parked my car in a garage nearby and left it there for our complete 4-day stay. It was a pleasure to ride as a passenger, and the 3-day pass is also excellent value.

Stayed here for a week in August. The beds were lovely and comfy,breakfast was fine and staff were friendly. That was the good points. The hotel needs updating with new carpets and walls need painting. Our toilet kept blocking up, the room telephone was missing buttons and don't get me started on the lifts you could wait 15 mins for them especially during busy periods. When we arrived they wanted our debit card and put hold on 350 dollars which was 50 per night we certainly didn't know about this and hearing converations at the front desk neither did a lot of other people.

Thank for staying with us an taking the time to review our hotel on Trip Advisor.

Please accept my apologies for the room condition. We will be renovating the hotel this fall and completing the renovation by the first quarter of 2020. This should freshen up all the guest room conditions.

I do apologize for the $50.00 incidental hold on your credit card. There is signage at the front desk explaining this situation. We will re-train the front desk attendants to insure they are explaining this to all guests.

Again my apologies.

We hope you return to stay with us in the future.
