Vibrant neighborhood scene, family friendly, and attentive staff with a traditional but inventive menu. The Mission fig and blue cheese salad is fresh and delicious. Splendid crab cake.
The kitchen welcomes tweaks -
Hold the sausage in the rigatoni, please bread the veal in the picatta, etc.
Very charming evening ,

We ate out on the patio where we enjoyed a blooming tree with lots of stone pots overflowing with blooming color and little twinkling lights hanging among them. The view was almost forgotten though when the food arrived -- we wanted a Sicilian experience and we got it!! Appetizer was
balls of ground beef, rice, cheese and peas battered then deep fried; was to die for! Dinner was portabella mushroom ravioli, salad with walnuts and blue cheese, and halibut along with an Italian red blend wine. Dessert was tiramisu and a capaccino. All the food was to die for -- excellently prepared and exceptional. We even got to meet Francis, the owner, and that topped our evening off! This restaurant is less than 5 miles north of downtown and it's well worth the trip!!

Whenever we come to Chicago, we have to go to Fiorentino's. We always bring friends here, too. We have been coming for years. A friend introduced us to this wonderful restaurant. The owner is very hands on and welcoming, as if coming into her home. Food is exceptional - especially the risotto and stuffed gnocchi. The waiters are consistently friendly and helpful. Don't find something you like on the menu? If it's not busy the waiters will ask the kitchen to prepare a special request from you. Well worth the extra effort to get here as it is so authentic even though not close to the downtown or Michigan Avenue areas. Get away from those chain restaurants! :)

I ate here when it first opened years ago and really loved it. Returned recently and it was not nearly as good and I had 2 of the same dishes I did a while back. The service was pretty good and the little inside patio is cute. I will not return but it was not awful.

I must have eaten there 30 or 40 times; it has always been consistently good. the gnocchi was so airy and fluffy, i thought it had airbags.... the veal lemone and ossbuco are a masterpiece.
ask to be seated in the yard (winter or summer) - it feels great! Our waiter was John - always professional and friendly. The owner - Francis - is a wonderful person. she always comes to us to ask how we're doing oftentimes we received dessert on the house. now can you really ask for more?
