“LOVE the United Center!!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We have season tickets for the Hawks and we always have a blast. The only thing that doesn't give it 5 stars is the pricing there. It is absolutely outrageous for food and drinks. but I guess that's typical anywhere. The Ketel One Club is TOP NOTCH!!

“well worth a look”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Took in a Bulls game (agonising OT loss to Denver) and had great seats. Crowd got really into it, creating a great atmosphere. Tricky enough to find a cab afterwards though, so public transport options should be explored.

“MJ's Former Home is Modest!”
Reviewed April 4, 2013 via mobile

My youngest son & I attended the McDonald's All American game last night and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of getting in and out of the venue. This was most important to me after a weekend of teen drama on the Mag. Mile. safety was foremost on my mind especially since this was a high school event. I am pleased to report the event was drama free. The attendance was 15,818 and the stats say for basketball, the arena can hold high 21k-23k so that might be a contributing factor. For this to have been the home of Michael Jordan in his prime it just wasn't that impressive and seemed very unpretentious. There really wasn't even that much Bulls memorabilia. The seats were adequate. I appreciated that they hadn't crammed seats into every possible crevice. There was plenty of close proximity parking but we took a cab from our E. Ontario hotel located in the Steeterville area and was so thankful to walk out the North doors or Madison doors and have several cabs waiting. I was a little leery about leaving late and not being able to get a cab but we didn't wait at all. We did leave with 3 minutes left in the game but so were a lot of people. The cab fare to and from was $13-$14 each way. The lines for food and drink were not bad at all. There were lots of fun games being played at time outs, breaks and halftime. There were many workers on duty and overall it was a very enjoyable experience for both my 14 y.o. son and I. Because of the nostalgia of this building I would hope that Chicago will leave it intact and not opt for bigger and better because no matter how plain it is it was the home to MJ beginning in 1994 and that makes this place worthy of a visit!

“Fabulous Seats!”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We came into the city for the Bulls vs. Heat game, and had a blast! Our seats were in the BMO Harris Club, what a phenomenal way to experience a game! All your food and drinks are included in the price of the ticket, and the quality of everything was tremendous! Buffet style food with everything from a nacho bar to steaks and grilled fish, and the dessert bar was unbelievable! The bar had a great selection of beer, wine, and mixed drinks, and the servers did a great job of making sure you had everything you needed. Most of the buffet is taken down after half-time (except the hotdogs and desserts), but you'll be so full by then it wont matter. Last Call? Forget it! They continue to serve drinks for an hour AFTER the game is over. Hang out, enjoy a drink, watch them take down the stadium, and wait for the crowds to thin out. It's way better than standing in the cold trying to fight for a cab! All this plus cushy leather chairs and private restrooms? Yes please! The surrounding area is a little sketchy so don't plan on walking anywhere after the game.
