Enjoyed a rainy day browsing the museum. It was packed but very interesting, classic history museum exhibits. Just got the most basic entrance fee (no special exhibitions or 3D movie) and that was plenty for a "taste" of this famous museum for the two of us with no kids.

Huge, lots of interesting exhibits. Can't hit them all in one day.

The Field Museum is one of the largest and best we have been to. The large T-Rex named Sue is a main feature you can't miss. The other dinosaur displays and fossiles is quite amazing. We really enjoyed the whale exhibit as well as the bird display, they are both extensive and worth the time to view. There are plenty of cultural exhibits like Egypt, Africa, China along with special displays of the history of Chocolate and the "9/11" photo display.

My daughter has a blast taking pictures of all dino bones in there. We spent a lot of time looking at all the beautiful exhibits in there before our stop at the planetarium.
