Got a $10 ticket on Groupon, for a night pass (5-9 pm) including the show and entrance to the Jellies exhibit. I am glad I only paid $10 instead of the $32.95 per adult it would have cost normally.

This aquarium is OK, but that's about it. The "sharks at the Shedd" are very small and only in one spot. The Jellies are cool. The Holiday Fantasea show is OK also, but don't sit on the sides of the seating areas or you won't be able to see some of the show -- when they say doors open 30 minutes early, they mean it, the seats were all filled 15 minutes later. The Amazon waters exhibit was all right. The Caribbean Reef exhibit had some nice fish.

I don't know what I expected, but I was underwhelmed. For $10, this was a nice way to spend the evening or even an afternoon, but $32.95 is way too much for what it offers. Considering the Science and Industry Museum is half the price. You will need quarters for the lockers.

Was very hard to get a cab at 7:30 pm....either take the number of a cab company or be prepared to walk to the main road.

Visited for the holidays with grandkids, ages 4 & 6. They loved the entire aquarium but really loved the special Christmas production with Santa, Frosty, dancing dolphins, beluga whales & other marine friends. Bravo to the staff for going all out to stage a holiday extravaganza for the enjoyment of young & old! We were also so impressed that the "mermaid" who feeds the fish in the Caribbean exhibit stopped to talk to our grandkids & explain the exhibit to them - you could tell she loves her job! Kids also loved dressing in the penguin suits & skidding down the slide. We will definitely return on our next trip to Chicago. A must see attraction for families!

We took in the show (kinda hokey Christmas twist, but still fun) and the 4D movie. A neat experience all the way around and we spent hours just wandering and enjoying the exhibits.

Visited with my young daughter and husband. Daughter loved running from tank to tank to see the various animals, however the tanks were mostly too high for her to see and she had to be held up. (not fun for mom and dad) Very crowded, but able to see everything we wanted, including the Happy Feet 4-D movie (very good!) and the Christmas water show. Spent 4 hours there, very good for a 2 year old, so found the money worthwhile. Plan to spend multiple hours and try to pre-order tickets so you are not stuck in line (outside covered area up the steps)!!
