Got to walk thru this gem on a Tiffany Glass tour thru CAF. The place is stunning, so many small pieces of glass.

If you are visiting Chicago - this is the place to begin! They have more information on Chicago than you could possibly ever want! But....don't leave without touring this beautiful building that used to be the Chicago Public Library. There is a grand ballroom with beautiful mosaics and a Tiffany Dome - not to be missed!!

Everyone at the center is very friendly.

And...check out: Chicago Greeter for free tours!

We met our Chicago Greeter at the Cultural Center and started our tour there. The stained glass & mosaic work is stunningly beautiful. There is lots of tourist information available and great volunteers to help you plan your trip to Chicago. Make this one of your first stops for sure if you're visiting Chicago for the first time.

The Cultural Center is a true gem - 2 beautiful types of architecture and decor in a single building. The Tiffany domes are spectacular, along with all the beautiful mosaics in the library side of the building. In addition, there are always musical performances and art exhibits going on. Free tours are given on the weekends and are well worth the time. Must see! The visitor center also has "insta-greeters" who give walking tours of the area - also free.

This is the most overlooked landmarks in the city. Right across from the bean, every one should stop in and explore. The mosaics are wonderful and the world's largest Louis Tiffany dome is right there for the gazing. There are Sunday morning chamber concerts, and it is all free! Also a room full of tourist and travel information bus passes and friendly staff to give tourists advice. Don't miss it.
