We didn't have much time, but went straight to the European painting collection. Wow! Hadn't been there in years, but surely it is one of the greatest in the world. Do not miss this when you are in town.

We went on a rainy day & you have to check your umbrella. They charge $1 per item. To me it was worth the $1 to not have to carry it around. If you are an art lover, then this is your paradise. There are many levels & many rooms & each one will wow you. Downstairs on the lowest floor they have a room of paperweights & a display of little rooms with miniature furniture.

The Impressionist collection is spectacular! Though I have been to the AIC many times before, it never disappoints.
