“Bucktown/Wicker Park Food and Walking Tour”

We had very enjoyable experience on this tour. Our guide, Sophie, was knowledgeable and personable and FLEXIBLE!! We got caught in a torrential thunder storm and she protected her group like a good "mama" ! Kept us on track, we got our hot chocolate ( which by the way is decadent!) and more importantly she kept us relatively dry! Thanks,Sophie for a wonderful afternoon! The tastings were wonderful and we have discovered a part of Chicago we really knew nothing about!

The Chicago Food Planet was a really great tour of not only foods but gave a terrific history of Chicago along the way. We got several tastings which were all unique and delicious and our tour guide was especially knowledgable and fun. A great way to get a real taste of Chicago!!!

“Great tour of Bucktown/Wicker Park”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

This was our 2nd Food Planet Tour. We did the Near North Tour two years ago. Kent did an awesome job of mixing food with history, architecture and other great information! This is great for out of town visitors and for locals. We hope you add more neighborhoods in the future. I told my 14 year old son about what a great time I had on the Tour and what a great guide Kent was and how cool his shoes were. My son immediately went online and bought his own pair of kool-aid shoes.

“A great tour!”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

We had a very good time on the Bucktown tour. I highly suggest this tour. It's totally different than anything I've done before. It's just the right amount of walking and it takes you through some neighborhoods you wouldn't normally go to. We had a couple locals with us that had not done it before and they really enjoyed the day with us. The Spice House was awesome!
