This was our second time to Bacaro. It was a better experience this time since we had better seating. We had a very attentive waiter who did an excellent job explaining and assisting us. He was knowledgeable and kind. Wine was great. They have an extensive list. The food was excellent. The chef must love pickling and peppers because they seemed to be on most of the entrees. No thanks! We had the special which was cod and it was the melt in the mouth type--reminding us of sea bass. Excellently prepared with fingerling potatoes and broccolini . Desserts were heaven, especially the homemade yogurt. The coffee was wonderful. Highly recommend this place for a great dinner. This is about the only place in Champaign that has great food!
