“Great place for Kids”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

We had a lot of fun at Curtis Orchard
We picked our own Pumpkin and then washed them.
They have the best apple donuts and cider in town.
We played on the different climbing structures.
We also feed the goats.
They also have a big rocking chair we took photos in.
You can also ride a pony or jump in a bounce house.
This is a very fun place.

“Great Family Fun”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

It has been a tradition for us to visit pumpkin patch every fall before Halloween. We love the apple cider and the donuts from the Flying Monkey cafe, and all the goodies that are available at the store. Kids play area is great, maybe a bit run down, yet we manage to have fun anyway. Get their apples!

“The Place to Go in Apple and Pumpkin Season”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This place is a day trip delight and an education. Its orchards and fields are adjacent to Champaign, so they're easy to get to with plenty of parking, even in high season. The owners have put up a small playground and petting zoo to keep children happy. The shop sells all things apple, plus seasonings, jams, salad dressings, pies, cookie cutters, and bric-a-brac, In the fall you can wander the pumpkin field and pick out the ones you want. Small wagons are provided to ferry children and pick up quantities. On occasion there is live music, well chosen to make the trip a greater pleasure.

“Fun but pricey”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

We've been visiting Curtis Orchard each autumn since my daughter, now grown, was little, bringing along family and friends on many visits. It's always a fun experience, however one thing that has changed throughout the years is the cost of the fall weekend attractions. My husband gets disgusted each time, calling it a rip-off. Indeed, for a family with more than one child, it can get expensive here and I just think that a family-run business like this could be a little less greedy and cut back on the cost of the activities. Of course, there are many orchard/pumpkin farms that end up charging admission. When that happens - we're done. That all being written, it's still a pretty place to visit in the fall, and so far, it's free to walk about and just take in the surroundings if nothing else. Their apples are always tasty. I like the Jonagolds.

“Free petting zoo”
Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

I went there as a kid and thought it was super fun. As an adult, it's still fun to check out the pumpkins and the orchard. I enjoyed the free petting zoo, especially the goats. They were soft and eager to be petted.

The gift shop was fun to check out and smelled deliciously like fresh apples. They had some samples set out (more please!) and we bought a jar of fresh apple butter. Yum. They have a cafe and lots of locally made products.

There is also a corn maze, a playscape, and a mini golf course. We didn't check those out because it was cold the day we went.

Although I don't have kids, I thought it was fun as a kid, and think other kids would find it fun too. It gives a little taste of the Midwest and the kids can burn off some energy. Plus, the goats are cute. :)
