“Wonderful place for a fall outting”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

We had a wonderful time at the orchard. There is no fee to get in and a small fee to go on the wagon ride, mini golf, pony rides and bounce slide and obstacle course. The grounds are very well kept, no trash anywhere. Play equipment for children and goats to watch. The pumpkin patch is massive. The shop prices are a little steep - but you pay for the experience, not just the merchandise. We were disappointed we were not allowed to pick our own apples this year.

Well, it was rainy and thus very muddy...so the day wasn't ideal to begin with. We were not impressed with anything unique here. The employees were busy doing their own thing and didn't ask us even once if we were finding what we wanted. I didn't see any employees at all in the play areas. No one was near the apple displays to provide info nor samples of any kind - there was a note to ring a bell and someone would come out from the back.
Glad there was no entrance fee or we would have felt cheated.

“Country love”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

This place is so kick back and enjoyable everyone should go there once a week. I went to pick a pumpkin and get some local honey, and there were so many great local things to buy i went a little crazy :-) No not really, but it was a treat. They have fresh pies, apple donuts, cider, preserves! The staff is sweet and helpful. It was a darn pleasure to go here! They had a live music outside, not too loud, just right. The smell of corn, hay, apples fills the air. Great for families. If i had kids i brings them here all the time.

“Nice products but kitchy and too expensive”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

The apples are good, the donuts and fritters even better. The cider is fresh and high quality also. They have a good selection of pumkins and other natural Fall decor in season. Its a fun trip for kids to go play around on the site, with traditional pumpkin patch attractions for the little ones. But their prices have just crept up and up over the years and I can't rate it 4 stars anymore just due to the wallet hit.

“TONS OF FUN! Great for young children!”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

We came here with a huge group of Illinois Alumni friends and had a BLAST! The doughnuts are awesome, and the playgrounds and other activities for children are just a blast! Expect crowds in the summer and early fall, but its worth the time, lots of fun!!
