“Enjoyable meal”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

The best part about this restaurant is the bread and ice tea. The bread is served warm and the dip made from balsamic vinegar, olive oil and cheese was delicious. The ice tea was one of the better ice tea that I tasted within the CU area. It has a inner fruit flavor hidden inside. The main course was not bad, but not the most impressive thing. The atmosphere was relaxing, but can be a bit loud at times.

“Good pasta, great bread, fantastic desert.”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

Nice meals. We had various pastas including lasagna, bow tied and both red and Alfredo sauces. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice decor. Typical Italian cuisine. Attentive staff. Nice separation of tables.

“A more descriptive ingredient menu”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

I recently ate at Biaggi's and was looking forward to their chicken piccante pizza. After the first piece I realized that it had a large amount of red pepper flakes liberally spread on the pizza, with some parts having a lot more than other parts. I ate about 1/4th and then gave up. The menu stated that one of the ingredients was spicy chicken. I don't think the red pepper flakes had much to do with the spicy chicken! I mentioned this to two of the waitstaff that someone should be a little more detailed with descriptions the next time the restaurant goes through a menu change because my pizza was very spicy and got an "Uh, OK" kind of reply. Another diner in my party had a similar issue with her dish, but said there was nothing in her menu description about her choice being spicy. Basically, I like to know what I am ordering.

“Quality Uneven”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We've eaten at Biaggi's often through the past few years. Sometimes both service and food are excellent but other times the food is just okay and we grow old waiting for our waiter to appear. It's often quite noisy so not a great place if you want to hear your dining companions.

“Slipping!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I had been a regular at Biaggi's in Champaign and was very disappointed to find how much the quality of food has slipped. Pasta was overcooked, sauces were bland and tasteless. Bathrooms were disgusting.
