A small-town beanery, without the beans. They open around 5 AM. A decent breakfast menu with a daily special, and they always have a crowd in there around 7 or 8 AM. Absolutely AWFUL coffee! They probably pay about 50 cents per pound for their generic coffee grown in Afghanistan. (Seriously, I got better coffee when I was in the Army!) I also suspect they wash out their floor mops in the coffee pot. Lunch is very sparse, a few sandwiches, and that's it. They close up shop around 1 PM, and they're closed until the following morning, so chew that sandwich fast! They are located directly across the street from a busy Amtrak station, but I guess they don't care to be open to cater to waiting or arriving Amtrak passengers, or the people waiting to pick them up. I don't understand how this place manages to stay open. If I ran it, things would CHANGE!
