The Train Inn was our first experience with a B&B and it was fantastic. We stayed two nights in the Carbondale Room which had lots of space and felt very private. The bed was comfortable and the room had lots of charm. Paul and Teresa were so nice and really made us feel welcomed. The morning breakfast experience felt like having breakfast at your favorite relatives house, not at a strangers home. Paul and Teresa gave us lots of good tips for adventures in the Carbondale area, and even drew out maps to help us find our way around. The breakfast was cooked from scratch using fresh and natural ingredients it was delicious. If you like a sweet breakfast ask for the Banana Fosters French Toast. The ONLY drawback was that the Carbondale Room has a window AC unit and considering it was 105F all weekend, it did the best it could. But it didn't dampen our experience, I think our experience converted us from hotels to B&B's.
