We tried to book a short break here online. Unfortunately the site wasn't working and i had to call the premises direct. I fully expected a long phone call, choosing different options and also having to pay more for not booking online. I was pleasantly surprised to get through straight away to a real person who honoured the online price. In fact the lady was so efficient that the confirmation e-mail arrived in my inbox before i even said goodbye! Upon arrival check in is smooth and well run, especially given that it was half term. The cottage we had was beautiful and spacious and despite being in the middle of the "village", it was very peaceful. The facilities were great but for a great deal of our time there the Blue Lagoon was shut. For families this must have been a nightmare, having to find, or more importantly spend on, more things for their children to do. However, without even having to complain we were offered a partial refund or vouchers off another stay, our choice. Given that the closure was beyond their control, i think this gesture was brilliant. I would recommend either going all inclusive or taking a full shopping load with you as it is expensive to eat out here and it is a bit of a trek to the local supermarket. Overall, a very relaxing break from the busy real world.

Room Tip: If you want space for children to play outside, choose a log cabin away from the village centre

Just spent 4 days in a Ramsey lodge. We're a family with 2 kids (2.5yrs and 3 months) and loved it. Kids didn't want to leave. The upside down layout and open plan upstairs of the lodge was spot on. Kitchen was full of all the utensils you could think of. TV and sofas okay. Beds not great (cheap mattresses) but suffice. We had a golf buggy included, was helpful and daughter loved it, room for pushchair on the back. Village is apt, has a little shop which was fair priced. We nipped into haverfordwest on the first night. Swimming pool was brilliant -hot pools. Adventure centre was good too with plenty to do but book activities asap as they got booked up. However we were given vouchers towards activities on arrival so glad we never pre booked. For great food locally, head into Narberth (local town). Peppercorns for a great meal and Ultra Comida for amazing meats, cheeses and wine for the evening. Overall, very friendly staff, great accommodation and will definitely be returning.

Be warned if you are not out of your cottage by 10am you will be locked out!

Being in a cottage we couldn't park close by (or keep the door open).. at 10.05 I tried to collect final belongings but was locked out.

Staff member in village centre was quite rude about it. Not a good departure.

Bluestone has a lot to offer, has great lodges and wide range of activities for young and old. This was my second visit to bluestone, first time was a cottage this time in a Lodge.

The lodges are excellent, we stayed in upstairs/downstairs version that had 2 bedrooms and a pen plan living quarters upstairs. We had one up on top the hill which gave is fantastic view across the resort and beyond. The lodges are very well equipped with everything that you have at home cleaned to a very high standard.

The Resort is well positioned to visit Saundersfoot, Tenby and has activity parks like Folley Farm and Oakwood near by. I'd recommend visiting one of these to avoid the rush of the 4:30pm checkin on the day of arrival.

During our visit we didn't get to use the Blue Lagoon due to technical diffculties which did taint the experience but after completing a customer survey they have offered 15% of my next stay which I feel is great customer service on Bluestones part.

Were now going in August this year to experience it the summer time!

Room Tip: In the winter get a buggy Get a cabin on top the hill to get a good view

We stayed here on a short break as a young couple. We stayed in a Ramsey Lodge, which was very spacious and nicely decorated! I did notice however that it could have done with some re-painting in some areas, and also lots of the other lodges around looked like their outside could have done with repainting too as they looked a bit worn! This visit was in March though so maybe this will be resolved by the summer period.
We ate out one evening at 'The Tafarn' which was pleasant, but slightly overpriced as a sandwich for £6.95? Another evening we ate at 'The Yard' which was an Indian theme, this was £7.95 and was like a buffet which we were quite disappointed with and wouldn't have booked the table had we known this. our table was booked for 8pm and by then the food had been out for a number of hours and were drying up so not very tasty. some areas of the village looked like they could do with painting, in particular the outside of the Spa.
we loved the pool, especially the lazy river!! overall i think the resort is aimed at families with young children as there seems a lot for them to do. I wouldn't pay some of the prices i have seen advertised for a week here but may consider visiting again if it was a bargain.
We didnt feel the need to hire a buggy as they were very expensive, and walking to the village/pool wasnt very far unless you are lazy or have young children to walk with.

Room Tip: Ramsey Lodges at Augustus Way are a 2minute walk to the village and about 10 minutes to the swimming...

I won a mid week break after entering their facebook competition and so glad I did. Me my partner & my 5 year old son had an amazing time in November, we had one lovely sunny day where my son went off on a pirate treasure hunt we sat outside a coffee shop drinking hot chocolate. We spent one long day in the fab pool, we all loved the lazy river. The self catering log cabin was amazing I cant say a bad word about the whole stay!! Would deffo return!

Just got back from a weekend break as a couple , which was bought as a Christmas present for us and it was absolutely terrible. The accommodation was very dirty and tired looking and in desperate need of re-decorating . The shower made the most annoying high pitched noise every time it was switched on and the shower head and handle both fell off !!!.

The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on and I can sleep anywhere , it was like sleeping on a cheese grater !! . I think they may have found this bed in a skip somewhere . On the Saturday morning when I complained they sent a man in a van with a mattress topper , quality . We decided that we would put it on ourselves only to find it was a scale model of a real mattress topper and looked like a postage stamp on the bed . What a waste of time. On the way back to complain again I discovered that the complaints queue was like the Next Boxing Day sale (extremely busy ).

We decided to have a meal at Carreg Las which is bluestones fine dining restaurant which I must say was lovely and we virtually had the place to ourselves which was nice . The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us right up until the point they sat a family next to us in the corner who I'm sure we're the loudest most annoying people in the entire world . Absolutely ruined an otherwise faultless meal .

I could go on and on with this place to be honest but I would just like to express my disappointment with the resort as it is very expensive and definitely not worth it. Wales has some lovely places that actually value your custom and this is not one of them.
