Stayed with family in a large house...was very nice. It's a nice place to relax and spend quality time with family. I just basically sat around eating, drinking, surfing the net, went to the pool, went for a walk around the park and relaxed. Cars are only allowed to drop people off and drop stuff off into the lodges. It's not 5star as claimed, but it's very nice and i would visit again.

Had 4 great days at this place, Very good accommodation and excellent customer service . Nothing was to much trouble
Great food available at the restaurants in the village and good activities such as Spooky splash which is a Halloween themed swim at the blue lagoon where they turn the water red .Also went in for woodland warriors which is laser quest in the woods, great fun .
We will be returning.

had a great time at Bluestone with 4 friends for my birthday,(they even supplied banners & bottle of wine on arrival) can't fault the accommodation large lodge, plenty of room, lovely beds, loads of hot water, great power shower, very clean,
The park is set on quite a steep hill so if you are really unfit you can hire a golf buggy, we went to the pool right at the top of the hill and the caught the little shuttle train,
we had an all inclusive deal which was excellent value for money, meal at Carreg Las was fabulous, and all the other places we ate, camp smokey ,breakfast, etc the food was great at all of them,
Not too much going on in the way on entertainment in the evenings everyone seemed to have disappeared but lovely to spend time in the lodge with a bottle of wine,a very relaxed atmosphere to the park,
The spa is great, the pool is great for kids,we did several activities which were all great fun & good value for money, staff were more than helpful & friendly
on a whole excellent value for money & would definitely stay again
be aware that cars are not allowed on site and once you have unloaded have to return it to the car park at the entrance to the park

Great holiday excellent for our 15 month old even had stair gates fitted in cottages. Pool area great could do with more family changing rooms but did seem like they were extending. Soft play good cans under 6 play great for our little girl. Could possibly do with some supervision to make sure it was under six. We were self catering which suited us but went to the bakery which was nice.

Room Tip: We had a two bed cottage daffodil cottage was lovely

Stayed for 4 nights in May with family. Stayed in a Gateholm lodge which was a good size for 4 adults and a toddler. Lodge very comfortable and well equipped. A very peaceful setting and great location to explore nearby attractions. Blue Lagoon excellent and with extra floats provided for children as well as a good children's pool. Enjoyed the Knights Tafarn but the Yard Restaurant was not brilliant. We are highly likely to return.

Road signs were a bit hit and miss to find the park and arriving in the dark isn't very helpful to find your accommodation!! We visited for a 3 night weekend break with our toddler.
The one bedroom cottage was in such good condition and finished to such a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was beautiful and everything was spotless. The golf buggies are an excellent idea. The swimming pool was nice, the soft play looked excellent, the circus zone was really fun. We have stayed at center parcs numerous times, and bluestone beats it hands down. The relaxed feel of bluestone is lovely, and you don't feel like you are on a money making conveyor belt like at center parcs. I have recommended to everyone I know and will hopefully be returning for christmas!

I won a 4 night break here which was lovely. It was at very short notice though so my husband and I came ourselves. We found that coming from East the signposting didn't mention Bluestone that often so just follow the Oakwood signs until you see the final signs showing the two different ways. The lodge was great and very spacious with everything you could need. It was semi-detached though and you could hear a lot of noise from the children next door which was OK but worth thinking if people were noisy at night it could disturb you. Think we would upgrade to a detached lodge if we came again especially with children.
The WIFI worked well which was a big bonus to me. We did a lot of sightseeing so didn't spend that much time on the site. It must have been really good fun for children.
The only real drawback was leaving the car in the car park. By the time we arrived and unloaded it was getting dark so finding our way back to the lodge from the car park was quite difficult as there are no proper signs telling you the direction to head in and the maps aren't any good for paths. It is an uphill fairly energetic walk to get back to your car which wasn't too bad as the weather was nice but you would have got pretty wet if it had been raining. This is obviously not much of a problem if you stay on site all the time and the village was handy enough.
Would have liked to have had the car at our lodge the night before leaving to get it loaded for an early departure and again were thankful it wasn't raining when we collected it first thing.
Everyone seemed to have hired golf buggys which we found annoying as they come up behind you and you don't hear them until the last minute but for families with small kids to get to the car park they would be needed. I know there are buses going about too but I didn't see any.
We had a Badger visit our lodge one night which was a lovely surprise as I had never seen one before.
Really enjoyed our unexpected break anyway.
