“Awesome service, amazing pool. Resort is beautiful, would recommend!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

From the moment we checked in the staff was very courteous and professional. We arrived two hours early, but were able to check in no problem. Enjoyed drinks at the Cave Bar and dinner at Shiraz on the Water. Food was amazing, five stars, seriously. We were amazed at the quality for a resort restaurant. Property is not modern, but it is well maintained. Only complaint would be the wondows in our room. Beautiful view, but the window was in serious need of maintinence. Overall a great stay.

Room Tip: I would skip the breakfast in the Masters Clubhouse, but don't miss the indoor pool!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However when making the reservations, we were going for a wedding with a block of rooms, we were told there were no more rooms available under their block. So of course they try to get you to pay more, then told we could reserve a room at a cheaper rate if we took the non-cancel, no change reservation and of course I said yes. Of course the bride called and asked if we reserved our room because we were not showing up on their block and I had, and told her the story. She said there was still rooms available under their block, but they gave us a hard time because we took the non-cancel, no change room rate. Anyway they finally landed up crediting our card the difference, but it was like pulling teeth to get it. Other than that it was an ok hotel.

From Kylie (front desk manager) and Rebecca (front desk) to to the valet staff .
All the staff make the experience amazing!

We had two adjoining rooms with two adults and 4 kids. Rooms are very nice and roomy. It is a very uniquely designed hotel resort. The entire complex is made of concrete. All the guest rooms are shaped as a hexagon. It is really cool!

Sunday brunch at Shiraz was wonderful and a great value.

A beautiful atrium with water works and a bar in a cave called "The Cave".

Two pools. One outdoor with poolside bar. An huge indoor pool with a deep end of 10 feet and a slide foot the kids. A huge hot tub with a water fall.

A Great destination at a great price.

I found this Hilton to be very different then others I've stayed at. Yes the hotel does seem a bit dated on the inside but I was impressed with the architecture of the Indian Lakes Resort. Coming from a construction background I loved the fact that the interior of the hotel is primary painted concrete with very little finishing done to the surfaces of the concrete, just take the forms off and paint it. I can see where this would offend some Loyal Hilton Guests, I my self a Diamond member found it very interesting. The second was the fact that the hotel is hexagonal or octogonal shape (I didn't count the number of sides) this makes the trip to your room an adventure. Any one can build a hotel with straight hallways. The rooms are hexagonal shaped with a convex ceiling, the bathroom was very large and both were very clean. The cave bar seemed a bit out of place in the center of the atrium but was also another intersting feature of this hotel. Where else can you go have a drink thats in a cave with water flowing outside the openings while being inside a hotel. The breakfast was included in my rate and was also very good. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but the facilities look nice. My rate was only $77 per night but I would stay here again. Again if your looking for polished hilton with all of the fancy decor this isn't for you, but if you like the different or odities in a hotel then check this one out.

Have been staying here for a company event.

The good thing is the WiFi is pretty good. Had good signal wherever I needed it, very good speed and never lost a signal.

The Architecture is a bit strange as are the rooms. The theme of the hotel is a like a hexagon, and that's what the rooms are. No straight hallways due to this. You are walking around zig-zag all the time.

We had to walk a lot between different meeting rooms.

My husband and I came for a weekend seminar at hotel and were very impressed with hotel overall. It was clean and valet and front desk were very welcoming. Our room was a litle noisy as our window faced the "cave" so some muffled noise was heard from bar area during the nt but not loud enough to keep us awake. Very spacious hotel lots of little nooks to sit and talk or read comfortably.Food was good. Would definately stay here again. Great for families too!

We stayed here January 31, 2013 while floors in our house were being refinished. It was a last minute reservation and using our AARP membership we were able to get a $63 rate including breakfast. That rate made the stay okay but there isn't much else to recommend here. The man who checked us in was grumpy and didn't make us feel welcome or wanted. He did not say anything to us except to ask if we wanted to use the WiFi making it sound like we shouldn't. He did not give us the coupons needed for the included breakfast and when we realized it and called the desk from our room he first said the breakfast wasn't included and I believe he would have stuck with that except that I had a copy of our confirmation clearly stating breakfast was included. The breakfast the next day was quite good. The room and bathroom were large with a unique shape and appeared clean. The layout was not good for watching tv and there was no table so we ate our room service food from the desk. As near as we could tell room service was about the only option for food and the food was decent. Again the front desk man could have volunteered information if there was an open restaurant in the building. This is a summer resort and we were there in the dead of winter so the restaurants were probably running shortened hours or they were there and we just couldn't find them. It is a large building with many corridors. The refrigerator in the room is just the mini-bar with a warning that you'll be charged if you touch anything. I think the website advertises a refrigerator and if so I expect to be able to use it for my things. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The soundproofing in this hotel is pretty much non-existent. We were lucky that there were few other people staying the night we did because when a shower was used or a toilet flushed in another room it sounded louder than the ones in our own room. We couldn't access all of the tv channels we were suppose to get and again the man at the front desk was not helpful at all. He said something about they had lost 30 channels and that was that. Our last complaint was the heat in the room. There was too much of it and though we turned the thermostat down to 68 degrees the room never dropped below 76. If we had paid more than we did I think I would have given this a worse rating but no matter how much or little we pay we have come to expect more from Hilton.
