The exterior is unassuming, but the interior is welcoming and comfortable. The beer selection is vast and varied, and the food is delicious. I had the prime rib sandwich. The ciabatta roll was fresh and perfectly toasted. The meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. Nothing pretentious on this, just a quality sandwich. My wife had the crab cakes and was very happy. These were not "signature" main dishes and I am anxious to go back and try those . The sides were varied and tasty. The star of the night were the warm bacon filled doughnut holes with warm maple syrup dipping sauce. Dear lord they were incredible! More like small powdered sugar coated beignets, filled with a bacon maple filling, served on a raspberry purée bed with a high quality maple dipping sauce. Phenomenal and worth a trip just for these. First impressions are they do things right.
