I give it five stars based on what it is: a cheap, older, completely not fancy place. We stayed there twice on a trip over to Idaho, on the way there and back. The rooms were exceptionally clean, if not particularly well-decorated. (I kind of wish I could go scour thrift shops and estate sales and get some fun and funky mid-century furniture and decor, it would look adorable.) But we were just staying overnight, not looking for fancy. Everything you need is there and works, heat, air-co, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV. Bed was comfortable enough. WiFi was fine, not excellent but we could get the essentials done, if not stream a big huge HD movie. Nice staff. Nice access to the Wallace Inn with the pool, our kids were definitely good with that. We first stayed in room 7, and had trouble with the shower being either really hot, really cold, or just tepid. Reported it and hopefully it'll get adjusted. We stayed in room 3 the second time and had no trouble. Rates were very reasonable for the end of winter, I'm sure during the summer tourist and festival season it might seem a little pricey for what it is, but hey they've got location on their side, right in the middle of downtown.
