Description: The 1313 Club is home to some of the best food in Historic Wallace, Idaho. Our historic bar and restaurant offers a unique food selection in a great setting located in downtown Historic Wallace, Idaho. The most commonly asked question is "How did the 1313 Club get its name?" There are a couple of different stories, the most popular is the fact that the original bar area was 13 feet high by 13 feet wide. The other story is that when they opened there were already 12 bars and 12 brothels going in Wallace - making us the 13 13! Pick the story you like best.

Always good food and good service. It offers a large variety of foods and the portions are large. The decor is delightful and entertaining. A really nice, affordable place to take your family.

We asked a local where the best lunch spot was & he directed us here. Well varied menu. A decent amount of choices. I had a Smoked German Sausage on a Hoagie Bun with Sauerkraut. Good Fare ! Others had hamburger variations, the Prime Rib Sandwich is recommended, I'll save that for next time.

Worth a return trip..

As you may guess by now, we ate out a lot on our recent family vacation. On our way from Idaho to Montana, we stopped in Wallace on the recommendation of a friend. The 1313 Club was the kind of place that needs to be featured on Triple D (Guy Fieri fans will know what I'm talking about). Read on for details...

Basics...
Located in historic downtown Wallace, ID, The 1313 Club has street only parking. Downtown is small enough to only cover a few city blocks and it is easy to walk to the restaurant from just about any parking you find.

We were greeted with smiles and shown to a table quickly with no wait. The menu featured an extensive kids section (did you hear that Fire Artisan Pizza...a kids menu!) as well as all the usuals for older palates. Our server was very friendly and made us feel like they were genuinely excited to have us there.

The menu was an interesting mix of items, but I was eating "light" so I opted for a side of tater tots...gotta love a place that serves tots. My son opted for items from the kids menu...dino nuggets and for the portion he got, the price could not be beat!

My brother enjoyed the daily special of stew and we shared the gravy fries. Home made gravy on a basket of fries? I've done chili cheese fries at other places, but this took the french fry experience to another level, especially with home made gravy.

I was not previously familiar with the whole huckleberry phenomenon in this part of the country, but suffice to say that you can get everything from a huckleberry glaze on your salmon burger, to huckleberry vinagrette on your salad to huckleberry wine as your drink of choice at the 1313 Club. My wife thoroughly enjoyed all of the huckleberry selections she opted for.

Overall...
Pricing: reasonable to great, especially on the kids menu
Atmosphere: local and funky, comfortable
Service: with a smile; timely orders taken and delivered
Family-friendly: YES!
Strong recommendation to stop in Wallace and visit the 1313 Club. After your meal take in downtown and all of the cute shops.

Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful buildings. The breakfast was well done and was well priced. The inside is also filled with antiques. Play the juke box.
