I guess we got lucky and the falls were flowing full force because they were beautiful. There is a nice little park that is included in the admission charge (very cheap, only $3 per car). The view down the river canyon is stunning and the area has a nice country feel to it.

There isn't much else to do in Twin Falls, but what do you expect out here? We stopped by the Visitor Center and they asked us if the falls were flowing because sometimes they are turned off for irrigation (We were there in May). We assured them they were running and the volunteers seemed relieved. When we asked if there is anything else we should see in the area they said if we saw the falls, that's pretty much it. They did recommend driving out to the Shoshone Indian Ice Cave and Craters of the Moon, which were already in our plans.

Twin Falls is a nice, small town with lots of restaurants and shopping (like Target) if you need to stock up while you are on the road.

Not too much to do but it's pretty. If your around this area you either gamble or go to the south hills. Sun Valley is a bunch of stuck up rich people that live in a pretty crappy town too. Like I said just drink....You'll have more fun Cheers :-)

When we first pulled into Idaho we stopped at a rest area/visitor center right on the Snake River. They had a lot of information & the lady on staff that day was very informative. When I told her our main purpose was to see Shoshone Falls but was concerned with water levels, she informed me it was great & they were letting a lot of water over the falls. Thank you!
This was the biggest, grandest water fall I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful. The kids loved it. Plus, only $3 to get our car load in, oh & you can see it from the top without paying but it is worth the $3 & the narrow road to get the better view! Great deal.
The information area had a lot of old time pictures & history information, very cool. Worth the drive!!!

Great place, just sooo imressive that i couldn't believe my eyes. Very nice and worth going. Amazing. Beautifull.

The best food was in Walk in Grill, Mongolian Grill. Very, very nice food very clean, prices were very good. Overall very good experience going to Twin Falls. You will not regret.

The pictures show a massive fall. Apparently not in July.
We were a little disappointed at the trickle.
