Simply breathtaking view and power from the Shoshone Falls!
I just visited a couple days ago, middle of July, and the falls were roaring. Funny thing, there are certain times of the year when it will be absolutely dry, so given the time I went (mid July), that's when I would recommend to visit.
Was cheap admissions, one flat rate for a vehicle, and then you can also drive another quarter mile up the road to Dierkes Lake where there is a great beach, water, playground area for all ages.

Went to the falls over Memorial Day weekend. It us about a 5-10 min drive from the main drag in Twin Falls, past pastures and big homes. The road winds down to the booth, where you can either park for a partial view, or pay $3 and head down into the canyon where the main viewpoints are. There is also a lake that can be accessed, very nice. The road goes into a large parking area, there is a park on the left side. The grass well maintained, there were picnic areas and families were out grilling/enjoying the day. There are many viewpoints just off the parking lot. There is also a trail that runs down the rim of the canyon for additional views. We were lucky that there was a lot of waterflow since the surrounding area had a lot of snow from the winter. The gift shop area has odds & ends, and a penny smasher machine with 3 separate designs. If visiting Twin Falls, this is a great place to spend from 30 mins to a couple of hours.

We stopped at the falls in late afternoon (on the last day before they began charging a $3 per car-load fee to see the falls--March 31). We had been wanting to view the falls during the time of year that water was at a high flow-rate, but much to our disappointment this same high flow also generated a great deal of view-blocking mist. Because the mist was so extreme you could hardly even see the falls itself. Fortunately we were there at just the perfect time of day to see a beautiful rainbow created by that mist. All in all I wouldn't say these falls are nearly as impressive as many of the other falls I've viewed in the western USA and Canada.

We were there in late September, so the falls were at their lowest. In the Spring they must be outstanding and the views from the park would be outstanding.
