On a nice day, there are several "jumpers" that jump off the bridge, so take your camera to catch the action. The view from the bridge is awesome, and it's fun to walk the length of the bridge (a little scary for people afraid of heights). The visitor information center is nice.

There is a walking trail to the west (and also east, but it doesn't go as far) of the bridge that winds its way past the Canyon Crest and other restaurants/properties on the Canyon Rim. Dogs are allowed on a leash. The trail is paved, good for strollers and roller blades. Take sunscreen and water on a hot day!

The views are awesome and during the spring, summer and fall you can often watch people jumping off the bridge. It is approximately 498 ft from the bridge to the snake river below. You must come check it out.

It's totally legal in Twin Falls Idaho for base jumpers to jump off the huge 1,500 feet long and 486 feet high Perrine Bridge above the Snake River. That's how it should be too!
and every time base jumpers are in town, there's unknowing drivers on the road, crossing the bridge who are calling 911 fearing that folks are jumping off the beautiful iron bridge. The emergency services really don't mind as its an attraction to Twin Falls and they get informed in advance.

There's a viewing platform near the bridge as well as a canyon rim footpath providing a lovely walk to view the splendor of the Iron bridge as well as take in the golf courses both sides of the Snake River running through the 500 foot high canyon.

A must see of Idaho, with lots of cool bars and restaurants in Twin Falls to make at least a full day of visiting Twin Falls.

I have grown up in Southern Idaho and the Bridge is one of the great treasures for visitors. The bridge stands 482 ft above the Snake River and spans the canyon for nearly a half mile. The site is a world-wide destination for Base Jumpers and you will see them jump throughout the year. There is a large mall to the south of the Bridge and a Visitor's Center on the west side. You can walk out on the bridge and look east to Evel Kenevil's Jumpsite or look west and see two beautiful golf courses that sit in the bottom of the canyon. There is a walking trail along the south rim that allows you to hike along the river with parking in the adjacent mall.

You can walk on both sides of the bridge to view the Snake River. Bring your binoculars to view the waterfalls.
