Casual beach dining. Select your own seafood, have it grilled and served beachside at sunset! There are several of these restaurants along the beach. The hostess was warm and kind, explaining all of our options, inviting us to dine and watch the sunset.

Baliku is the 2nd cafe from the left when you reach the stretch of Jimbaran Bay. As you can see from one of the photo below, there are many similar cafes along the whole stretch of the bay selling very similar seafood and stuff.

Basically Baliku work on ala carte basis where you order and choose whatever seafood you want. The seafood comes complimentary with white rice, vegetables and thick corn soup. Drinks are separate.

Food is nicely grilled and taste good with the spices and sauces provided. The coconut that I ordered also has lots of water in it.

To be honest, there are many places in Bali where you can such grilled seafood. The main reason everyone choose to have it at Jimbaran Bay at least once, is simply because of the amazing sunset views that the whole area offers.

And because of this the price is also touristy range. When you are choosing the seafood, be aware that the quoted price on the menu is per 100grams ONLY. So keep that in mind when you are choosing your fish, calamari or lobster because the price is gonna ballooned fast.

Also, try to go around 6pm if you want to select the front row tables directly overlooking the sea. By 6.30pm more than half of the tables are already filled with customers and most likely you only have the 2nd or 3rd row of tables left. This is the same with other cafes on the bay.

Enjoy the seaviews and the sights of planes flying up and touching down on the airport on your right :)

Our driver took us here cause he said it was good. Had many bintangs and grilled king prawns and grilled calamari. It was served with a tuna soup, kankong veggies and garlic, chili and grilled vegetable relish. wow was so moorish. Loved the outlook and sunset on the beach. The only downside was that it was a bit too windy and the beach itself was very littered with a ridiculous amount of rubbish. The restaurant here try to clean up in front of there restaurant but much more needs to be done. Our driver said it all floats in from Java. Yuk. Clean up your act Indonesia it you want more tourists to visit your shores!
We spent about 2 hours enjoying the sunset and very tasty food for about $50 AUD. very good value. Would recommend visiting if you don't mind looking pass the rubbish on the beach.

Came here using vouchers so it's not as expensive as the regular price. But the taste is average. The seasoning needs improvement.
However, the scenery is very good, but you can also get it from another cafe there.
While waiting for the food you can play in the beach right in front of you,
The best time to spend time here is in the sunset, it is very beautiful :)
