We visited Sandpoint over Thanksgiving 2013 to get the "lay of the land" having never been there before. The location is perfect, very close to town (though not walkable during the winter). The room was perfect for us to use as a base to go exploring. Agree with previous reviews that the corridors are cold (and that makes me wonder if they are warm in the summertime). We used the pool and hottub with no issues. Very pleasant stay.

Rooms where clean and we got to bring our dog! Great location could walk to downtown Sandpoint! Hot tub and pool really nice especially after a day of skiing! Everything was great. Hallways where cold but once inside your room it was nice. Liked having room facing the lake.

This hotel is in a very nice area, off of City Beach in Sandpoint, ID. What is really nice is not only are the accommodations comfortable and clean, they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel. Even if I don't stay at the hotel, quite often I will eat in their restaurant. The only down side (not a deal breaker) is that they do not have an elevator, so make sure that you stay on the middle floor if you have trouble lifting suitcases.

Was here during a cold spell in early December- Hotel was clean although dated but the biggest issue is the rooms were cold, the hallways were cold- it was cold.

Also no pillow options - only foam ones none were soft the way I like them, The gym is very limited- clearly a vacation destination not that great for business.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and he staff was pleasant and invited. The attached restaurant, "Trinity" was excellent. Another reviewer mentioned chilly hallways, and I concur. The halways were on th cold side, but once into the room, everything else was just fine.

We have stayed at several Best Westerns and, as has been the case at other hotels in the chain, the room was clean and the decor was updated. The lake view and dining make the stay worth it. However, the hotel hallways were so cold that I had to wear a winter coat just going to the lobby. The pool/hot tub facility are a little dated, giving off a 70s era vibe. The water in the hot tub wasn't all that hot. The reason we'd return to this hotel is its beautiful location on the waterfront of Lake Pend Oreille and the independent restaurant at the hotel, Trinity at City Beach, is to die for. We ate there three times during our weekend stay and both food and service were excellent.

This hotel is a gem in Sandpoint, Idaho. I stay there on business when traveling in the area. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and the restaurant is great. Even when I'm not staying at this particular hotel when passing through, I eat at "Trinity on the Beach" which provides excellent meals at a reasonable price.
