Very average at best. I find it very difficult to believe reviews of 4 & 5 stars? This was a Saturday night, as we were being shown to our table I noticed about a third of the tables had tablecloths and the rest didn't? They sat us at a table for two which was adequate in size. The problem was we were almost in front of the fireplace. I ended up switching sides with my wife.
The service was adequate, nothing special, also nothing bad. The waiter did make a good suggestion about ordering a half size meal. The meal itself was nothing to write home about. I had the lasagne, was warm not hot, served on the plate not in the traditional lasagne dish. Light on the cheese and very tomato based. My wife had the tortellini, traditional white sauce but the pasta was not cooked enough. Pricing seemed a little high for Sandpoint but not totally out of line. Think you can do better.
