Description: If Spud's is one thing, it's fresh. Fresh in the sense that we make everything from scratch, from every dressing, sauce and chutney, to elaborate soups and outstanding desserts. Spud's is also fresh in the sense in that our classic menu is continually reinspired by worldly flavors, regional style and seasonal ingredients. We adore the sophisticated touch of the West's best restaurants, and honor the casual comforts of small town North Idaho. Located in picturesque downtown Sandpoint, Idaho, Spud's Waterfront's reputation extends beyond the shores of Lake Pend Oreille as an excellent restaurant for locals and travelers alike. Dock your boat on the boardwalk, bike up from the beach, pull in on your way to the mountain, walk in before catching a show at the Panida.

This is a good place for lunch. They offer good salads and baked potatos with several different toppings. Dinners are small portions and even I do not get full from the small portions. Lunches are much larger. We have eaten here many times, but prefer lunch and the menu offerings. Seating is very limited in the winter but business slower then. Out door seating is a great view of Sand Creek, where there is a marina and access to the main lake.

This little eatery is a great place for casual dining. They serve the most delicious chicken I have ever eaten. Homemade soups, salads and impressive specials do not disappoint. A different style of service just order, pay and grab a tray to pick up your food. Seating is limited and tight. Outside dining in season. Nice view, great food! Parking is also limited.

This is a causal place where you order as you enter, then move along for a drink order and then find a seat. This visit was a warm summer day, and thus the patio overlooking the river was a joyful place to be.
We both had salads that were plentiful and rather good.
The menu is broad and there is likely something here to satisfy most who seek a quick and reasonable lunch.

This is a very informal place. Order at the window inside the door. Pay at the cash register and sit down. They bring food to you. No table service for drink refills etc, food was good. Fresh. Nice deck for outside dining option.

You can't go wrong here for a quick respite from your shopping or to refuel after a day at the lake!I recently visited SPUDS with my family for lunch on a hot summer day as it had been recommended to us by one of the store keepers during our shopping expedition; we weren't disappointed!
SPUDS is trendy, fun and casual and the food is great! You order at the window as you come in the door, then proceed down the bar to collect your beverages and pay for your meal. They give you a # to set on your table and the waitress brings your meal out to you. This is a unique approach, but it works well, and the service was attentive, friendly and efficient. The patio overlooking the lakefront and marina was packed so we opted to sit in the coolness indoors. It's a small space, but comfortable.
The menu was interesting and varied, but we all ordered the special peach and bacon salad of the day which was delicious, and the apricot tart we shared for dessert was bursting with flavour.
