Review of Oddfellows' Bakery

Oddfellows' Bakery
Ranked #1 of 1 Bakeries in Salmon
Certificate of Excellence
Cuisines: French, Italian
Description: Odd Fellows’ Bakery – an All Butter, All Scratch, Sourdough bakery, located near the Salmon River in Salmon, Idaho. We create and sell a full line of Pastry, Cakes, and Bread. We also have sandwiches, soups and, on Wednesday nights, Pizza and Live Music. Our atmosphere, like our customers, is warm and casual. Please feel free to call or email us if you have any questions or comments. Follow us on Facebook, if you're so inclined, for information about new products and upcoming events.Located in the historic Odd Fellows Building (across the street from Salmon’s only two story owl), our Bakery strives to provide quality baked goods, excellent service and the warmest of atmospheres. Our purchasing dollar is spent carefully with consideration to good food and community. In an era where food is becoming chemistry, Odd Fellows’ will continue its success by focusing on raw, natural, sometimes organic and local ingredients to create its product. We mix all our breads from only the necessary ingredients: flour, salt, water. No sugar, no milk, no oil, no butter. Taste the grain. It’s really good.

“Awesome Bakery”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

After having lunch in Salmon, my husband and I wanted a little something sweet, so we stopped in at Oddfellows and bought a couple cookies to go. There were wonderful!! We stayed a ways out of town that night, but the next day we drove back to the bakery to buy more cookies and a sandwich for lunch. Again, the cookies were delicious and the sandwich, which was more like a panini once they heated it up for us, was super! Definitely stop by Oddfellows Bakery when in the Salmon area. BTW, the young man helping us was very polite and kind, answering all our questions patiently. Nice!

“One cinnamon roll goes a long way!”
Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

Nice old building. Excellent coffee. Consider splitting the cinnamon roll: they are enormous. Certainly worth a stop!

This place is simply awesome. It's a great place to hang out and their bread is wonderful. I'm a river guide and we serve their bread on our trips to everyone's delight.

“Great Coffee and Treats”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Even in the afternoon this local bakery has good hot coffee and sweets to go with it. God service and right on main street! Near Rags and Wags - a local humane society supported store that had a broad selection of clothes and other things.

“I wrote a review in July 2012...”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We very much enjoyed ourselves then but were disappointed that they were out of their world famous coconut macaroons. We returned this past week and finally got to taste them. It was well worth the wait. Yum!! The macaroons were toasted and crunchy on the outside while being moist and pillowy in the center. Then drizzled with some chocolate, these treats were heavenly. BTW, we got some to go and most of them didn't make it home.
