If you want to sit on the patio overlooking the lake and have the best service paired with a North Idaho Sunset this is the place to be!

“Tasty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014 via mobile

Very nice restaurant, with meals appropriately priced. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Not very many customers when I visited which made for a lovely private supper. The desserts seemed to be made on site (extremely rare to find now). Nice views of the lake. I would eat here again when staying in Sandpoint.

“AWESOME SEA BASS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2014

We stopped in Sandpoint on our way to Banff. Based on reviews in TripAdvisor, we decided to stop at 41 South. It was a Friday night and we did not have a reservation. Since they did not have a view table in the main area of restaurant, they offered us a table on the side of the restaurant that faced the lake and was located between their restaurant and the sushi bar. Although it looked like a walkway, it turned out to be a SUPER table. Yes, there was some activity going by, but it did not bother us. And WHAT A VIEW. Now for the meal. Since my wife loves Sea Bass and they had it on the menu, she decided to give it a try. It was EXCELLENT. I had the pasta pescatore and it was very good. If ever in the Sandpoint area again, this restaurant will be our first stop.

“41 South, Fine Dining at the South end of the Long Bridge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014

The rack of Lamb is very good here as is the fresh fish entree. The menu ranges from $15 to $30 for each entree. They do have excellent local microbrew on tap and a very fine wine list.

The view from the deck looks across the Pend Oreille river toward Sandpoint and the Selkirk Mountains. Great sunset spot! You can boat here in summer with free dock privileges for guests.

Forget the adjoining sushi place.

“Snowmass Auction Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

We were staying at an amazing B n B called Sweet Magnolia in Sandpoint and they suggested 41 South.

Great suggestion.... The most amazing view... Suggest the corner table in the bar across from the fireplace. We were in town for 6 nights and are there 4 out of six. Nothing compared. Next time we will eat there 6 out of 6 times.

By the way, Johny the Bar Tender is a create personality and very inviting.

The food is as good as any I have had in my travels. Fresh fish is their key. And a warm red cabbage, apple and beets is a great item to share.

Go!!!!
