What a wonderful gem hidden away in a small town! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband loved the planes and I loved the upstairs with war memorabilia from every US war.

We went the the flight museum after reading the terrible reviews of Yellowstone bear world and are so glad we did!

Best way to kill time between soccer games, ever. Everyone enjoyed it.

The volunteers are experienced military veterans who love to share their knowledge and time.

This day, they were taking the planes out to test them before the bi-annual air show, so we got to see them in action, such an incredible way to interact with an exhibit.

I will be putting this stop on my list of things to must-do in the region for others, and will be back myself!

Hear ye, hear ye, all WWII airplane buffs. This is a very nice collection of WWII airplanes and all but one are still flown. Their motto: Made to Fly, Not to Sit. They have 1 of only 3 airworthy P-63s in the world! The upstairs Fort Henry Trading Post Military Museum has an exceptional collection of military artifacts dating from the Civil War to Iraq--uniforms, weapons, types of barbed wire, etc. Allow 2 hours to enjoy the collections.

This is a great experience and a great collection of airplanes. Talk to John Bagley about flying all of these planes as he is the most experienced pilot. Great times that will keep the kids interested for hours.

The airplanes that they had on display were very good. Good variety and the collection of model planes and warships was very large and fantastic. Upstairs they have a large display of military uniforms for all American wars including allies and enemies. Easy to see in small amount of space. They also have a few Army jeeps and cars on display. I would recommend this attraction for military buffs or anyone who likes transportation vehicles. They have t-shirts and other small military mementos for sale in the gift shop.
