“Bears up close”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2012

We live near Bear World and go there every summer. It is fun to see bears out and about and up close. There are a lot of bears in Bear World. On a hot summer afternoon they are often sleeping in a shady spot. Young kids love it here because of the animals and the kiddy rides. They have a fun petting zoo also. The best part is seeing the baby bear cubs. It is a bit pricey but the only way you can see so much wild life up close. There are other animals such as elk, wolves, moose and buffalo.

“Fun for the Family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

We honestly stopped here to break up the trip home from Yellowstone and were pleasantly surprised. Bear World is definitely diseigned for families with small kids. We arrived on there first day of the year which meant a bearlated easter egg hunt for the kids. There are several kids rides for kids 4 feet and under, a petting Zoo and you get to see the baby bears close up. The drive through part of the park was very enjoyable the first time through. That was before the guided tours started. For $25.00 additional dollars per group you get to ride in a open air vehicle and see the bears from high up as an added bonus as you near the end of the tour the vehicle stops and you get to through food to the bears. The first time through the bears were scattered through the driving area. After the guided tour they were all bunched at the end of the drive waiting for the next tour to feed them.
Anyway it was still fun. To feed a baby bear it cost an additional $35.00 per person. Admission is about $17.00 per person. Half price the first three weekends in April. Nice gift shop slightly overpriced

“Bear world”

This was a nice place to visit....but the bears pretty much just slept while we were there. It seemed kind of pricey for what you actually get to see, in my opinion. It had a nice gift shop though, and the drive is nice from Pocatello, where we live. It makes a nice outing, especially for people who don't have time to drive clear to Yellowstone Park.

“Don't bother”

They should close this place down and set the animals free. The owner is exploiting all those poor high school kids.
