We visited Idaho Falls for a concert, but decided to stay in nearby Rexburg overnight because of the lack of any impressive-looking hotels (online) in Idaho Falls itself. This was a nice, new hotel on the edge of town. Nice and quiet and we had a very pleasant evening. But what is with the Springhill Suites obsession with ugly 50s-60s colors? Breakfast was good but not awesome. I'll definitely choose this place next time I need a hotel in this area.

Newer SpringHill Suites and probably the nicest hotel in Rexburg. Location was odd; relatively close to a College but not close to anything else but a convience store and gas station. Stayed one night, using Marriott points. Received a warm welcome at check-in and an oblivious attitude at checkout. Checked out prior to 8am and breakfast offerings were disappointing.

Spent Thanksgiving week visiting our college daughter rather than having her fly home. Enjoyed Rexburg and were very comfortable at the Springhill. Winter cold - wonderfully warm indoor swimming. Great room, excellent staff, wonderful breakfasts. Would stay here everytime I come to Rexburg

Room Tip: Great family accomodations

Spent a very enjoyable night in the 2 queen suite with family in Rexburg. Indoor pool was a little crowded but very enjoyable. Connected hot tub was a perfect combination. As noted in the pictures, the decor of the hotel is definately a retro look, much different than what I've seen in the area but it makes for a good memory in something a little different. Kids loved it. Rooms were a little small but perfect for what we were needing. Only downside is the frosted glass in the bathroom and shower doors. As noted in other reviews it does let in a lot of light which was annoying during bathroom breaks in the middle of the night. Staff was definately 5 stars in regards to service. Very friendly and accomadating to all our needs. Would definately stay there again when in the area. Recommend getting a top floor room with a view towards the east. The Rexburg bench with the LDS temple lit up at night is a fantastic view.

Room Tip: top floor with an eastern view

We selected this hotel on the Marriott-dot-com website, as the Marriotts in nearby Idaho falls were all full. A bit out of the way, off of I-15, but well worth it.
The surprise was the room's decor. It is a budget hotel, but the layout of the room and the decorating were sort of a '60s retro-chic/future-ific thing -- very nice, original and comfortable too.
We had lots of room to spread out, we had some leftovers from the night before which we reheated in the microwave -- a nice added touch! Then we spread out and watched TV and relaxed in the room. The sleeping area is separated from the 'living room' by a little divider wall and there is a separate toilet bathroom and shower room, which gives the suite a bigger feel, All with the retro-chic decor -- so cool!
Only negative for those travelling without leftovers is that there are very limited walking-distance restaurant options. (You'll have to drive.)
We were heading west from Montana, and this was a great stop. For folks going to Yellowstone from the west or south, this would be a great spot too.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor.
