Big Bear is a locally owned and operated restaurant. They serve great food, with fast friendly service. A good soup and sandwich special every day! With fabulous cupcakes to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Can't say enough great things about the food and folks at Big Bear! Tim and Kathy are such wonderful owners, they remember you and your "usual" every time! Their menu is varied and delish, but my oh my the daily specials are nearly impossible to pass up! They come up with some really unique soups and sandwiches. Dont forget to save room for a cupcake! Kathys cupcakes are so good! I have ordered for parties and people just rave about them! Big Bear Deli is a winner!!

The service I experienced here has been unmet on previous and subsequent lunch trips in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area. The Big Bear Deli has a local feel where the workers know quite a few of the patrons' names, but still treat newcomers like me with the same care as their loyal base. The atmosphere is unique in that there is a flat screen tv, outdoor seating, all within what appears from the outside as a large log cabin. The food is great, featuring a standard selection you would expect from a deli. They also have items like sprouts, which add a little touch to their already delicious sandwiches. The only negative thing I have to say is that this place isn't located closer to Spokane, because I'd likely become one of their regulars if that were the case.

Everyone has a favorite here! Truely THE consumate deli. Owners Tim and Kathy prepare the freshest sandwiches imaginable, exactly the way you want. Not only do they have an amazing knack for remembering your name, but also your "usual". You just HAVE to try every sandwich on their extensive list... every one is unique and guaranteed to satisfy!
