“Always fabulous food yet seems recipes have changed a tad...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014

I have always been a fan of Chef Brian Inaba as he always creates full bodied delicious plates with layers of deep flavor. He recently moved his restaurant to the Broadmoor Gold Course in Nampa and while I do like that it is newer and cleaner than the old building in downtown Nampa, it is a bit sterile in personality. Thus the 4 star rating. It is similar to a family style restaurant with generic décor. The saving factor of this atmosphere is the fabulous views of the golf course. The servers were different this last time I visited and I do miss the personal service I used to receive at the old location. Not bad service, just not the warm smiles and genuine caring Im used to with Copper Canyon. I ordered my favorite, the chicken polenta, and it was delicious yet a little less garlic and a little less fresh greens than I am used to. Fresh and crisp vegetables balanced the savory polenta. My friend had the chicken masala and she raved about it. They had always started our meal with fresh bread and it was missing from every patrons table this day. I did not ask about it. I have previously had fabulous fresh and filling salads here as well as some tasty seafood and steak specials that they feature every day. The soups have always been rich and deep with flavor. Copper Canyon is a great restaurant to celebrate aromatic balanced flavors and great food while supporting a talented chef and a local business!

“Great dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We chose Copper Canyon strictly because of its location, right across the street from our motel. Golf course restaurants run the gamut of quality, but this one was a great find. Food was delicious and plentiful, and our server was exceptional.

“Dinner before the Idaho State TT cycling Championships!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

As part of our Masters USA Cycling racing schedule, we ventured to Nampa, ID for the State TT championships. Obviously, the reigning state and National Champ needed some pre-race food! We selected the Copper Canyon Restaurant next to the Golf Course! We are glad we did!

Our dinner was 1) good to very good, 2) the portions...especially the combos...were large and nicely done, and 3) the service and hospitality was greater than great!

The timing from the kitchen was a bit off...but again the efforts of our server made up for any timing errors.

So...if one is bound for Nampa, ID for any reason...please consider the Copper Canyon Restaurant in Nampa. By the way, the 6 time woman's Masters TT Champion won again...maybe it was the Copper Canyon Restaurant food!

“Outstanding Service and Delicious Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

We arrived for an early dinner on a Saturday evening and were seated at a window overlooking the golf course. Our waitress was present almost immediately and asked for drinks and told us about the evening specials. She was most attentive and friendly during our entire evening and she knew the menu and made excellent suggestions when we inquired. We ordered Filet with scampi, broiled salmon and honey almond chicken with salads, all of which were delicious. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert and could not have been more pleased with our meal and service. Tables are well spaced, it is relatively quiet and the view is great. This is an excellent establishment and to find it on a golf course is most rare. I would definitely come again.
