The food at Nectar was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The food is a bit overpriced in my opinion. The menu is not very extensive with only a few choices. We ate potato and leek soup, macaroni and cheese, filet mignon, and pasta with spicy sausage. Everyone enjoyed their choices. The biggest complaint we had was the service, which was almost non-existent or extremely slow. We had made reservations and upon arrival were asked to wait for a few minutes while our table was prepared. The server pointed out a table near the door that was reserved for our party. After setting the table, no one came to seat us. Many servers would walk by and say they would be back in a few minutes, but no one ever returned. After waiting about 15 minutes to be seated at the prepared table, we decided to seat ourselves. Once seated, the server was more attentive, although nothing exceptional and below the standards one would expect for the price we paid for the meal.
