Once we weren't able to get in because of a hockey team being there and it was standing room only and another evening we couldn't play pool because they were having a pool league and the last straw was when we weren't even allowed in at dinner time at ALL because of a "private party". Is this a sports bar and restaurant or a private club?? They advertise food coupons and "kids eat free" on Thursdays but this is misleading because everytime we went to have dinner with our family one of the previous things was happening and we had to leave and find another place to eat. I don't think we'll go back again. All this place has done for us is waste our time and gas. We don't even care if their food is good.
I guess the key word here is "dinner". Maybe it's a good place for lunch and if so then it should be advertised as "open to the public for lunch". "After 5 PM open to private parties."
The owner seems to love to have private parties so maybe he should close it completely as a public place and advertise it as a place to have your next party OR he should go and get another building so he can have a private party room for his private parties and the general public can still go and enjoy the place at the same time like some other restaurants in the area.
This place is not for you if you want to sit down and eat and watch sports - in the evenings anyway. But if you don't mind standing around and drinking then go ahead and try it (if you can get in). We heard the food is good. Wish we could have had a chance to try it!
