My girlfriend and I have tried many breakfast spots in town and around the country. We tried the new brunch at Muse at the high recommendation of a friend. We are a young couple and noticed that the older clientele around us received much better service from the wait staff throughout our meal.

Our food took nearly an hour to arrive after ordering and items were brought near the end of the meal that they "forgot" about because they made them fresh. Given an hour to make simple breakfast items, I am quite confident they had more than enough time to serve a complete meal. Was this because we are young? I am not sure. The food was fair, the portions small, but decently priced. If you're looking for a subpar meal served by staff with a highfalutin air, come on in, at least the hit to your wallet won't be catastrophic.

This was the first night out since my wife broke both her arms in an equestrian accident; and it turned out to be special. We had heard about the Muse Bistro and Wine Bar which has been open for approximately 13 months. This is a small comfortable venue with three booths, eight tables and a wine bar along the west wall. The interior decorating is gorgeous starting with linen table cloths, wall hangings and faux-copper ceiling.
We ordered wine from a fairly extensive list with quite a few available by the glass. Their menu changes weekly so that the chef and crew can take advantage of local, seasonal offerings. They try to have a meat, fish, poultry and pasta item on the menu and every sauce and pasta is created fresh in their kitchen.
Loved our date night and we will have to save room for one of their own, handmade dessert items next time.

I am so happy to have discovered this wonderful restaurant. Small and intimate, tablecloths at lunch, informed waiter, good prices, excellent food and great menu choices! Need I say more?

A chance comment by a friend the evening before was what alerted us to Muse. It was a place we had passed by several times without even noticing it (not all that surprising since it's set in a shopping plaza with lots of other distractions). But we were certainly glad we found it. It's small (maybe a dozen tables?), nicely decorated and with excellent food. The chef changes the menu weekly, limiting it to 4 or 5 appetizers, 3 or so salads, about 5 entrees and 3 or 4 desserts. That may seem limiting, but in actuality the menu offers a variety of tastes and the limited menu means that what is offered is being done well. Go on a Friday or Saturday evening and you should fine Ricardo playing beautifully on his guitar and singing lovely Italian melodies. Highly recommend Muse for a first rate meal and a very enjoyable dinner.

This was our first trip to Muse and we will definitely return soon for another meal. We like the format of a new weekly menu and scratch cooking. My halibut was excellent and my wife's veggie lasagna tasted great. We both had a salad which was dressed with a refreshing and unique mint/tomato vinegarette. For dessert we split a brownie with salted caramel ice cream. Good brownie and fabulous ice cream!
The food was really good and was delivered with excellent service. We enjoyed live classical guitar music. Not sure if the music is weekends only or every night. The patio setting was very peaceful when we arrived. Then the sports bar across the patio opened their windows and the noise level increased dramatically. Also, a comedy show had just ended. We were told the noise level was much lower on weekday nights. There is a nice-looking fireplace on the patio which we are anxious to enjoy later this fall. The indoor space appeared nice and cozy. I would recommend reservations rather than just dropping in, especially after the patio closes.
