Spero's was recommended to us from a family member passing through so we all decided to try it out on the way home... absolutely delicious. Meat tender, sides tasty and the garlic bread was wonderful...one had the Hawaaian pulled pork sandwich with a hunk of pineapple. Looked and smelled wonderful... All the food was very appealing and appetizing. Loved the outside atmosphere. Would be a bit cold in the winter, so take it home and eat in front of your warm fireplace. Service was fast and efficient. The Truckers Special could feed at least 2 adults and 2 small children. Very clean establishment. Would definitely visit again on our way through Malad. Thanks Spero... good job!!

Saw the big sign as we were stopping for snacks at the gas station and had to investigate. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and split it between the four of us (husband, 8 year old son & 5 year old daughter) just as a little sampler. Delicious!!!!! On the way home from Idaho Falls we had the entire family (parents, brother & family, sisters and their families) stop by for lunch. Everyone was satisfied and full. Big portions and all drinks are $1, which are kept in coolers. This place is rustic and cozy. We ordered the Trucker Special, which feeds two people, and the Hawaiian pork sandwich -both were yummy. I like the sandwiches better, though. This is now a lunch stop for our family when we are passing through Malad. Also, the garlic bread is pretty tasty. All outdoor seating. THEY ARE OPEN SUNDAYS!!!

Passing through Malad and saw the biggest sign BBQ! Had no choice but go check it out and so glad I did. Only downside was ordering a plate that was on the menu yet the lady taking my order had no clue they had. BBQ chicken and pulled pork. That's what I chose and was impressed with. The sauce was ok but the meat was outstanding! Rice and bread were great. Definitely need I figure out how to bake beans and stop using canned beans!

This is probably a lot of fun in the summer when things are moving faster but there's no place to eat in the cold so plan on take out until May/June. The meat was tender and flavorful but the beans tasted like they were right out of a can.

Overpaid for food that was dry, overcooked, tough meat and chicken that tasted as if it had been sitting on a counter all day! The sides are horrible to say the least, nothing homemade about them. UCK!!
