We're always looking for good new places to eat and stay on our travels. Caesar salad was creatively different and very good. The two types of steak we had were done perfectly and presented well with quarter-cut potatoes and asparagus. Wine list was good, coffee very good. Prices were slightly up scale, but worth it. This might have been the best meal we've had in Lewiston in a while. It made an enjoyable evening out.

So sorry we went here, but my sister gave us a large gift certificate. This is totally a 'wanne-be' restaurant. Sauces disguise everything; halibut tastes like Mexican salsa, roast duck is drenched in unidentifiable sauces. Though the sauces were good, I'd like to taste the roast duck and halibut. Should call it 'Sauces that look like food'. No salt or pepper on tables, and even have to ask for ground pepper for the salads. The wait for food is too long, and no offerings of breads, vegetables or anything. Appetizers took as long as the dinner to come. Wait staff act snooty and lack any compassion. This was a birthday dinner, but they don't care about any of that. Wasn't even offered desert!!. For a hundred bucks, you'd expect a lot more, especially in Lewiston. I have gotten more and paid less in Portland and Vancouver..

We had lunch with a local Shiraz. The sandwiches were good and the soups were even better. They are a bit pricey but if you are in the valley, you would likely need to spend more in gas money to find such food. The servers were attentive and friendly.

We had lunch there and found the service and food excellent. They had some interesting combinations for the food that tasted good. We just had on overall good experience.

We ate here 12/13/13. When we got our food after an hour and a half wait it was excellent everyone ate their entire meal because we were famished! The service though was deplorable and if I were paying for the meal I would not have tipped the wait staff. While we waited no one came to fill our water glasses, wine or beer glasses, or offer an explanation as to why we had to wait for so long until about 20 minutes before we got our meal. Our waitress was nowhere to be found while two other waitresses were just standing there doing nothing. The very least the two waitresses could have done was come over & offer to fill our glasses, freshen up our wine or offer some bread or suggest an appetizer. They could have helped our missing waitress out to by letting us know what was going on. Our waitress was busy with a "12 top". The other two waitress should have stepped up instead of just standing around. We may give you one more chance; but, if service does not improve, we won't be back. Service in the wine bar was excellent.
