Curly slides for the ride of your life or the new speed slides shoot you down at over 35 miles per hour. Lots of grass space for picnicking or you can purchase food at the on-site grill. Outdoor pool is open the summer months only. the Indoor Aquatic Center is open all year with a poolside climbing wall, springboards and basketball hoops. Heated floors throughout the dressing rooms provide warmth and comfort for all swimmers. “Fun pool”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

My 8 year old son and I went here after tubing down the river. My main negative comment about this is that parking was jam packed when I arrived. The biggest reason is that 3 or 4 pickups/trailers decided to take up 5 spots each. The city police should monitor that. The pool is pretty good, we only went on one slide ride and the wait wasn't that long. Good splash pad for the young kids, hot tube right next to it. Be aware that if they hear thunder they will close the place down for 1/2 hour after the thunder ends. They tell you up front what the chance of storms is for the day (today was 20% and they did shut it down as we were leaving.

“Superfun, but ... RULES, RULES RULES...”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Great, beautiful and packed every day! The slides are a lot of fun but the lines for them could take 20 min or longer. I understand there have to be a lot of rules in a place like this, but what in the world!!!!! It is a continuous whistle blowing from the life guards that never smile and are always reprehending the guests for anything. It felt like you were about to get yelled at for every step you took. Asides from that the whole complex is really well taken care of and a lot of fun. Bring a towel and an umbrella or some kind of shade.

“High Dives and four slides!”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

There is one huge outdoor pool with dive platforms up to 30 meters and four wild slides to go down. There is also two indoor pools. Has a concession stand with food and drinks. You can rent towels and lockers. You can rent a party room if you want. There are slides for the little kids too. We had a great time! You can do twilight rates after 6 pm till 8pm when it closes or buy a dual park pass for this pool all day and the hot pools in town.

“so much fun!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

My whole family loves it here. There are a bunch of fun slides to go on as well as diving boards and platforms to jump off of. Very fun. There is also an indoor pool, but we've never used that.

“FUN! FUN! FUN!”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

There are 2 pools. One inside and one out. There are 5 diving levels outside. One is HIGH. You have to sign a release of liability before going out to the pool and you wear a braclet so they know before you can go off the high ones. There are 3 slides outside. 2 of them go over the road by the pool over a walking bridge. They are fun! Take chairs, blankets, coolers, umbrellas, or whatever so you have somewhere to hang out when not swimming! There are some trees but they are not around the pool. You can take food and drinks but not in glass. There is a lunch counter but it is spendy! You can rent tubes right by the pool to float the river through Lava too. Be careful though because there are some serious under currents in places that will get you if you fall in. There's plenty of places to camp and hotels if you want to stay in Lava. Lava has hot pools that are relaxing too so there is plenty to do for a weekend or a couple of days. It's pretty packed on the weekends during the summer so if you go try during the week! The olympic pools are only open in the summer. The hot pools all year round. You can rent suits if you have to...
