We visited as part of a large group, forty to fifty strong on a weekend night in August. The place was generally 'empty', with I'd guess a capacity of a couple hundred people inside and probably the same outside, and only twenty or so folks around. One waitress, who was also the bartender and cook. Extraordinarily limited choices from a bar menu, none of which was fresh, all of which went into either some sort of fryer or a microwave. To say service was slow would be kind, it was more of a glacial rate of service.
The atmosphere is "lodge", and the place has a good sized dance floor and that particular evening they had a 70's-80's classic hair band rock group playing, and they were pretty good...but no one danced. Our group met outside under a covered patio, adjacent to a small man-made waterfall and an unused outdoor stage....flanked by an unstaffed, unused, but very expensive outdoor bar.
Other than our group, the population was almost universally "biker people", with a large row of Harleys, more tats than you can believe, more fifty-somethings who were trying to look like thirty-somethings, a lot of over-the-hill teenagers with beer guts. Every other word from one table started with "F". No fights or anything, just a huge waste of money to build a nice looking place, then not staff it, not have a kitchen that serves actual food, or even a decent wine, beer, or liquor selection. Not. Ever. Going. Back.
