Even if you are not going to ski the Gondola ride up is worth the $17. It is fun and can be romantic. We even enjoyed it on a stormy day. I really did like the windy snowy day and we were all sealed in and comfortable. Not recommended if you are afraid of heights. We had a beer when we got to the top and watched the skiiers come down the slope.

The gondola ride is long and scenic to get up to the ski area form the highway. Because of the gondola which departs from a location within blocks of the main highway, there is no white knuckle drive to the ski area which is almost standard in the Northwest. The runs are often a bit steep and narrow for my easy going taste.

Rooms are expensive and beds are starting to sag. Restaurants are so-so. Sometimes great service and food, sometimes lousy service and food. Have had to wait up to 1 hour before we got our food.

Water Park is nice for families with kids, but is usually part of a package deal with the rooms - which makes the overall experience not worth the value.

I can't say anything negative about this place. The rooms are nicely furnished in a condo style, even have wash/dryer in the rooms. Beds slept comfortable and ample room throughout. Don't care to use the kitchen in the room, there are other options within a short walking or driving distance. We usually stay here at least once a year and enjoy the indoor waterpark.

We had a great time tubing. The gondola ride to the top of the mountain was very long and with very pretty views. There are 4 tube slides right next to each other so there was never more than a five minute wait to take your turn and sometimes there was no wait. One of the best parts was the conveyor belt that took you back up to the top of the tubing hill. The other best part was the views of the surrounding snow capped mountains.
