It is hard to know what name to refer to this restaurant, The Pines, Phillips Lodge, or Lodgepole. It is cozy and has a great cabin feeling, a good selection and the service was fine even on a busy evening. The food was just average. I had the evening special, trout, that was fried, flavor came from the sauce. My husband was not impressed with his ribs. The soup was hot though. Great place to meet friends for a drink.

The Pines is an incredible get away from hectic life. The food is delicious or hide away and stay in. I slept so well smelling the mountain air in the comfy bed. Great prices too. Be careful of bears!

The Pines is a great place to spend an evening for dinner. It is a great rustic environment with trees and woods surrounding it. A special treat last night was a cow Moose and her calf grazing right next to the Pines facility. The food was delicious and the service was very good.

We enjoyed a few meals at The Philips Lodge while staying at The Pines...and loved the lodge feel and warm, friendly atmosphere! Cozy and casual with a great menu with lots to choose from to chicken fried steak to salmon to bison burgers. Great staff and Rick, the owner, comes around to chat and makes you feel right at home. Try the huckleberry dressing on your salad!

The cabin was cozy and cute. plenty enough room two. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were in the one bedroom with no kitchen, but we still had a nice kitchen area with a small frig, coffee pot, sink, and toaster. If we needed anything, they were quick to respond. The bathroom is really small, but not a big deal.
