After eating, join us in the Lakeside Bar, where all your flavors of beer, wine and spirits are offered in a rustic friendly atmosphere. Listen to one of our many live music performances and cut it up on the dance floor. Or sit by the fire on our peninsula and take in the views of Jefferson and Sawtell peaks, both higher than 10,000 feet above sea level, as the sun sets behind them. Finally, retire to one of our 6 cabins tucked privately away in the pines, or in one of the eight economical hotel rooms next to the main lodge. Our Luxury Cabin can accommodate large groups in a very beautiful and private setting on the lake front. We offer numerous room variations, from king size beds and Jacuzzis perfect for a couples getaway, to rooms with multiple full size, queen sized beds and lofts for the family. All rooms are equipped with a fireplace, satellite TV, and wireless internet for your comfort and convenience. Secluded RV spaces and Camping sites are also available here at Lakeside.

This was the third time in 3 weeks that we dined at the restaurant at Lakeside Lodge. Each time it gets better! The manager goes out of his way to ensure the guests are satisfied. This resort is also where the locals go. I've had the daily special two of the times we've been and it has been fantastic. We had a group of at least 10 each time we've been and the service has been great. You can dine inside or sit on the deck and watch an amazing sunset over the water. Full service bar. We will be back!

From the time we called late in the afternoon till right before we checked out, the staff was very helpful. We made several phone calls to help us with directions to making extra sure that our meals were perfect, to advise on where to shop locally. The lodge is tucked away all to itself right on the lake. You just couldn't ask for better scenery to enjoy. I recommend this place for anyone looking to get away from the hectic life in town. The food, lodging, and the people are so wonderful.

We loved our first experience at this restaurant two years ago. Only go here on the weekend. we arrived around 7:30 on a week night and was met by a waitress from he.. She is a rather small middle aged lady with a snappy attitude. She told us that she was busy and we could just have a seat and when she was caught up she would show us a table. No water was offered throughout the meal, she first brought another groups meals to us and then had to retrieve them to the other folks. The food was not bad but the service (primarily this one lady) was terrible. As others have posted, the owner always checks on his customers and is very gracious. The restaurant offers a much simpler menu during the week which took us by surprise so we couldn't order our favorite fair so go on the weekend for a better selection. Our waitress from HE.. told us that we could only order the large rib eye steak which quite a bit more pricey and that the smaller version was not to be had. Overall, we will go back on our next visit but only after verifying that this lady is not on duty or the premises.

Better off eating the dirt out side. I have nothing good to say about this place. From the moment we walked in the door it went form bad to worst in a quick hurry. There was only 1 menu to share between 9 of us. We waited for 2 hours for our food and did not get 1 refill on our drinks. When our food finally came we got 1 napkin to share. I could keep going but I will sum it up by saying don't go here unless you want to spend lots of money to come hungry and leave the same way.
