“Big Museum, Small Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

This small-town museum pulls in exhibits that are rare, even in the big-city museum world. E.g., the "Race to the End of the Earth" exhibit has been seen in only 2-3 other U.S. museums (NYC, Smithsonian); when it leaves here, it goes to Europe. And that kind of rare exposure is their forte.

“Wonderful museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

This museum is a treasure for this area-it is bringing in many of the big name exhibits that wouldn't normally visit smaller states. Well worth the admission and your time.
We saw Rock & Roll exhibit of guitars-outstanding.
The people are great to talk to

“Great exhibits!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013

The Museum always has a great exhibit worth visiting. During Christmas, there is no admission fee and there are holiday items on display- nativities, Santas, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah along with gingerbread houses made by local residents. There is also a terrific area with lots of historical information and archives about Idaho Falls. There is a neat children's area that has several hands-on activities on the second floor. It's a great stop for families!

“Great Small Town Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The Museum of Idaho is a great place to put on your list of attractions to visit in Idaho Falls. It has hosted numerous special attractions such as an excellent collection of Tutankhamen artifacts, a Leonardo da Vinci exhibit, an historic display of Guitars, plus an entire floor dedicated to the history of Idaho Falls. Check the Internet before your visit to determine what special exhibit will be on display.

“Not your typical small town museum”

Always hosting top quality shows for a market this size. A good value, too. You should not be disappointed.
